Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in the user's browser or device when they visit it. They allow browsing information to be remembered and, depending on their purpose, are either necessary for the site to work or serve to analyze its use. This policy is issued in accordance with Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and the AEPD's Guide on the Use of Cookies.

2. Cookies used on this website

The Website uses its own and third-party cookies, classified by purpose into two categories:

  • Technical or necessary cookies: essential for the Website to function correctly and to remember the user's consent preferences. They do not require consent and cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies: allow aggregate measurement and analysis of user behavior (pages visited, time spent, etc.) to improve the Website. They require the user's prior consent and are only activated if the user accepts them in the banner. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is used.

The Website does not use advertising or commercial profiling cookies.

3. Cookie table

CookieOwnerTypePurposeDuration
jesterin_consentFirst-party (Jester In)TechnicalStores the user's cookie consent choice~13 months
NEXT_LOCALEFirst-party (Jester In)TechnicalRemembers the chosen language (Spanish or English) so the right version is served1 year
ji-preloaderFirst-party (Jester In)TechnicalRemembers that the intro animation was already shown, so it is not repeated during the same visitSession
_gaGoogle (GA4)AnalyticsDistinguishes unique users by assigning an identifier2 years
_ga_<ID>Google (GA4)AnalyticsMaintains session state for measurement2 years

ji-preloader is not strictly a cookie but a value kept in the browser's session storage (sessionStorage). It is declared here anyway because Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE covers any device for storing and retrieving data on the user's equipment, not just cookies. It is technical, never sent to a server, and disappears when the tab is closed.

Analytics cookies are only installed after the user accepts them in the consent banner. Until then, GA4 stays disabled and no Google script is loaded.

4. Managing and withdrawing consent

The first time you access the Website, a consent banner is shown that lets you:

  • Accept all cookies.
  • Reject non-necessary cookies (only technical ones will be kept).
  • Configure your preferences by category.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Change cookie preferences" button shown at the bottom of this page, or from the equivalent link permanently available in the Website's footer. Withdrawal has no retroactive effect on data already collected.

You can also manage, block or delete cookies from your browser settings:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Disabling technical cookies may affect the Website's proper functioning.

5. International transfers via analytics cookies

The use of Google Analytics 4 involves data processing by Google, which may involve international data transfers to the United States, covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. More information in Google's privacy policy.

6. Updates to this policy

This Cookie Policy may be updated in response to new legal requirements or changes to the cookies used. We recommend reviewing it periodically.

Change your preferences anytime

You can accept, reject or adjust analytics cookies at any time. Your choice is saved and does not affect data already collected.
